Our sustainable shampoo bars are 100% natural which means we don't use artificial colourings. People with sensitive skin can have reactions to artificial colourings so it was a no brainer for us.
Artificial colourings are cheap and easy to source, with natural colours it's not so easy. The colourings have to look great, be kind to your skin, and be stable.
So we set out on a voyage of colourful discovery for our ethical shampoo, testing mountains of natural colours until we finally found the perfect trio: pink, orange and green.
